Hello! My name is Tina and I've been practicing and teaching yoga for over 20 years. I am a certified yoga teacher through YogaFit as well as a certified Personal Trainer through ACE, American Council on Exercise for the past 22 years. I have a B.S. degree in Health Promotion, Fitness Management through Southern Oregon University. I've been practicing an array of fitness and health modalities most of my life and found the love of yoga while teaching fitness classes at a local gym.
I teach a vinyasa-style yoga class, emphasizing breath and movement within strength and mobility. My style is free-flowing without judgment nor competition. Classes are for all levels, offering variances/modifications as needed. If you are a true beginner, you may want to schedule a private session to assess your abilities.
A little history: I started The Chi Room Yoga Studio in the Fall of 2006. The studio has travelled to a few venues along the way, but with the COVID pandemic, I was forced to hold yoga classes via Zoom. This was challenging, I missed the in-person connection of practicing yoga with my fellow yogis/yoginis.
Starting in February 2022, I'm pleased to announce I am moving my in-person teaching practice inside
The Court House Family Fitness center in Medford, Oregon.
I will still be offering Zoom classes as an alternative option. I hope you will join me in either medium.
I will be offering Vinyasa Yoga on Mondays/Saturdays. Thursday's Yoga Core will only be available on Zoom, right now. I will also be offering private yoga sessions on Monday and Saturday, by appointment only.
